It's been 1 month ago since Streetlance has launched. Spending a month handling growths, fixing minor bugs and enacting a number of small changes and tweaks we decided to take a look and examine how the site has been doing since The Big Day.
First we are happy to report that Streelance.com, still in its beta version, has been visited 273 times in its first few weeks and the numbers of returning visitors are very encouraging too. While we are still very busy with expanding our audience, the fact that nearly half of the visitors return to our site is a very good sign. Because we hope to have new creative pitches, needs or inspiration to offer week after week, as we slowly try to build a new way for creative talents to spread their skills and creativity for a small price and more importantly: acknowledgment. We are also happy to report that some really cool pitches has been posted by various creative talents in the first few weeks.
We are working on the increase of traffic by getting the word out through the various means of social media. Our followers on Twitter and elsewhere has been very supportive by sharing our posts and content with others. Thanks again to those sharing our links and content with others and those sites that have written about our work!
One of the best part of Streetlance is the opportunity for people to actively share their creativity, talents and skills to anyone in the world who might be interested, people that otherwise wouldn't have the chance to meet. No one else right now is providing this and we are so happy to fill that gap and help people to sell their creativity, talents and skills.
We've already made a number of small changes and tweaks since our launch. Minor bugs has been fixed and we encourage you to continue posting pitches and interact with us through social media and writing us emails with comments. We love to hear your reactions to what we are doing and what you think of us. After all, we are the online marketplace to buy and sell creative services. We can't do it without you!
